Serve Washington’s Education Day at the Capitol

Serve Washington invites you to participate in our Education Day at the Capitol on March 12th, 2025.

This event is an opportunity to showcase Serve Washington’s programs and other national service programs and their impact through service in communities across the state. Our programs include AmeriCorps, WA Climate Corps Network and CERT. Additionally, we hope to have some representation from other national service programs including VISTA, NCCC and AmeriCorps Seniors.

This is a tabling event, and each program will be assigned one 6ft table. If you are interested in participating, we ask that you plan on having someone to represent your program at the table at all times. This can be done by having at least two people dedicated and/or multiple people covering in shifts.

Setup: 9am
Event begins: 10am-3pm
Cleanup: 3-4pm

Please respond to Lorraine.Cottrell@ofm.wa.gov with your interest to participate by February 10th. Once I have received your response to this invitation, I will follow up with more details. Space is somewhat limited so early responses will be greatly appreciated.

We hope you will consider participating to help educate and showcase your program to members of the Legislature and other groups drawn to the capitol campus during this year’s legislative session.
