Location: Southridge Sports & Events Complex, Kennewick (2901 Southridge Blvd, Kennewick, WA 99338)
The Tri-Cities Veterans Resource Expo & Stand Down is a free, one-day, community event connecting Veterans, Service Members (including Guard/Reservists), and their families with on-the-spot services, benefits assistance, and supportive resources. Attendees can meet face-to-face with local, state, and federal partners for help with VA disability claims and healthcare enrollment, housing and transitional services, education and employment resources, mental health and counseling connections, and more. Complimentary meals are provided by Texas Roadhouse and Dog Haus, with Paul Mitchell The School – Richland offering free haircuts. Family-friendly and ADA-accessible, the Expo is designed to honor service while removing barriers to care—so you can leave with answers, appointments, and a clear path forward.
What to Expect
Benefits & Claims: VA claims guidance, healthcare enrollment, records requests
Housing & Basic Needs: transitional housing info, community assistance referrals
Wellness & Counseling: mental health, peer support, and crisis resources
Workforce & Education: job leads, training programs, GI Bill and tuition info
On-Site Support: free haircuts; complimentary breakfast/lunch; warm welcome area
Who Should Attend
All Veterans, Active Duty, Guard/Reserve, and family/caregivers. No cost to attend. Bring a photo ID and any helpful documents (e.g., DD-214) if available—not required to receive services.
