What is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? Past or present Traumatic events, witnessed or experienced, such as military combat, natural disasters, serious accidents or sexual assault as a child or adult. Trauma untreated may result in disrupted family life, physical illness and reduced career performance.
As a Licensed Mental Health and Child Mental Health Specialist, I approach counseling with individuals, families and children based on a variety of techniques, which may include exploring past events and how they affect present circumstances. During our first session we discuss several approaches and decide together which might be best suited for you.
I believe people are comprised of a spiritual, emotional, biological and social self; my focus of therapy may include these areas. Depending on individual issues, therapeutic approaches most helpful for the client will be discussed.
My goal is to provide a confidential, supportive environment enabling discussion of difficult life events and development of effective strategies to cope.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Child Mental Health Specialist
Master’s Degree in Counseling
I believe in saving marriages and relationships.
