My name is Lisa Allen; I am a licensed clinical social worker.  I have been working in private practice now for 4 years.  Before going into private practice, I worked for a couple of community mental health agencies in the Tacoma area 4 years.  Prior to this I worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs for about 7 years.  I initially began my career serving in the U.S. Army for 20 years.  In terms of how I prefer clients to schedule with me, I would prefer email, but phone calls are an alternative.  I have the capability of meeting clients in person or virtual currently.
