Jon C. Vetten M.S., NCC, CCMHC, LMHCA, is a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor (NCC) with a specialty as a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), as well as a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA). He advocated for veterans through local veteran service organizations and retired from the US Navy in 2015 after 30 years with 22 years active duty. After several years he looked to provide additional care to those who have experienced various traumas, depression, anxiety and other difficulties. Jon completed his Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Walden University. He provides individual, marriage and family therapy through Northeast Washington Family Counseling.
Jon works from a perspective of wellness, and utilizes several interventions for therapy including; though not limited to: various talk therapies, motivational interviewing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as IFS informed EMDR. He serves all family members who experience difficulty dealing with their own challenges or that of a loved one.
