Honoring Those Who Served - Pearl Harbor - Bernard "Bernie" Manzo

"Bernie” Bernard Manzo is 96 years young and served in the United States Army Infantry 106th Division, the Golden Lions during World War 2, Assigned to the European Theatre, fought in the Battle of the Bulge and spent time as a Prisoner of War.

Duties included carrying messages by hand from battalion to company under combat conditions.

He is a Purple Heart recipient.
