Shiloh Kinney

Shiloh Kinney is the Western Washington Suicide Prevention Peer Specialist, serving Region 1. Shiloh served in the U.S. Navy for 11 years, where he held positions as a Master at Arms and an Electronics Technician on submarines. During a 2017 tour in Manama, Bahrain, he became a Field Training Officer, which sparked his passion for mentorship. After tragically losing a coworker to suicide while on duty, Shiloh began sharing his personal experiences with grief and mental health to help others. He holds an Associate of Technical Arts and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership and Technical Management from Olympic College in Bremerton. Now, as a Suicide Prevention Peer Specialist, Shiloh combines his problem-solving skills and dedication to helping others, to serve the veteran community.
