Heidi Audette
Heidi Audette completed her Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Public Policy at Montana Tech of the University of Montana. After graduation, she moved to Olympia and took a position with the House of Representatives in the Office of the Speaker. She spent several years in the Speaker’s Office and then moved into the position of House Research Analyst focusing on K-12 Education.
In 2000, Heidi was hired as the Legislative Liaison for the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs. In 2001, she also assumed the responsibilities of the Communications Director. Heidi has extensive experience in legislation and policy development and has been fortunate to work on legislation creating the Armed Forces License Plates, the Veteran Owned Business Registry among many others. She is committed to helping the WDVA team tell their stories and enjoys cultivating relationships and working toward a shared vision among team members, elected officials, community partners, and volunteers
Heidi is married with two adult children and lives in the Olympia area.
