Memorial Day. The community is cordially invited to attend the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs Memorial Day Ceremony at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery on Monday, May 29, 2023 from 11am – 12pm. A musical prelude performed by the Lilac City Community Band will begin at 10:30am. The event is open to the public. Limited parking is available at the cemetery with overflow available along Ritchey Road, carpooling is highly encouraged. Seating is limited, guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs or a blanket. Those in need of unique ADA arrangements should call (509) 299-6280 by Tuesday May 20, 2019.
The ceremony will be at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Road, Medical Lake, WA 99022. This is an outdoor event, so please dress accordingly. Out of respect for the families we serve the use of any tobacco products or vaping devices are not allowed. Pets are not allowed on the grounds at any time.
