Help Us Shout Out Our Community Heroes

We cannot even begin to tell you how fortunate we are to have such an amazing community in Eastern Washington.  So many amazing community members have helped cheer up and provide hundreds of masks and meals for our Homes’ staff, needed items for resident and so much more. 

Here are some of our amazing community heroes and a few of the many, many things they have so kindly donated to our Spokane Veterans Home:

• Steven and Faye-Marie Householder donated masks
• Richard Brown with Combat Vets Association CVMA 11-3 donated 25 headphones for residents
• Operation Spokane Heroes delivered meals for staff on all three shifts
• Ladies of the Northwest Group donated more than 200 masks
• Team Gleam donated 600 surgical masks
• Katie Wagner donated layer masks
• Kim Merkel Girl Scout Troop #3677 donated “Thinking of You” crafted stars
• American Legion Auxiliary Unit #54 donated more than 80 masks
• Bertie Hein and Family donated specialty chocolates
• Marian Ortiz donated masks
• Ginny Fabbe donated Longhorn BBQ meals and drinks for staff on all three shifts
• James McLaughlin with American Red Cross donated 2,765 assorted masks
• Michael Savage with Country Financial donated Taste of India meals to staff on all three shifts
• Sunshine Home Health delivered basket of goodies
• Purfect Logos donated 30 masks
• Various greeting cards from hundreds of community members
• Sgt. Meadows with Air Force Recruiting Office in Millwood donated Jimmy Johns sandwiches and Domino’s pizza
• Libby with Operation Spokane Heroes donated 10 dozen cookies
• R. William Rickard and family donated $700 to feed staff on all three shifts
• Quest Holbrook donated hundreds of masks
• Laura Wintersteen donated masks
• Sparrow Staffing donated a candy care package
• Robert & Cindy Petet donated meals for staff on all three shifts
• And all of our anonymous donors as well
