About the Act

The Veterans Small Business Enhancement Act of 2018 was introduced to amend the Small Business Act directing the SBA to give access to and manage the distribution of U.S.-owned surplus property to small businesses owned and controlled by veterans, pursuant to a memorandum of agreement (MOA) between the Small Business Administration, General Services Administration and the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES) Surplus Operations program. The MOA was released in March 2021. For more information on the Federal Personal Property Program, visit the DES website.
