Calling all Washington Residents!

Do you have a love for art or design, enjoy working with our military communities, and want to be a part of the suicide prevention efforts in Washington state?

The Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs is hosting a branding competition, effective IMMEDIATELY, to design a brand/logo to represent the Washington State Governor’s Challenge to end Suicide among Service Members, Veterans, and their Families, and the Suicide Prevention Program within the WDVA. The criterion for the logo is as follows:

Anyone is permitted to submit their design; however, we ask that all designs are appropriate and free of indecency/profanity, submissions considered as inappropriate will not be considered in the competition. We also reserve the right to combine/edit submissions if deemed necessary.

If interested, we request you submit your design, with the subject line titled “Branding Campaign” to Eric Burns (eric.burns@dva.wa.gov) no later than 28 February 2022 for review and selection of the winner(s). The winner(s) of the competition will see their design implemented across the state and will be provided promotional material with their design on it as a thank you for their hard work.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email Eric Burns at the email listed above.

We look forward to your submissions and thank you for your efforts to uphold the values of the WDVA in serving those who served.”
