Suicide Prevention Spotlight Series: Episode 1
Introducing Codie Garza, the Suicide Prevention Program Manager for the WDVA, and lead for the Washington State Governor’s Challenge. Codie comes from both a Military & Public Health background as a military spouse and having achieved a Master of Science in Public Health. She has led the fight to end suicide among Service Members, Veterans and their Families for the past two and a half years by working with State, Federal, Private and non-profit agencies to expand the Suicide Prevention workforce within the state, and by building & enhancing programs focused on reducing suicide.
