During a roundtable discussion on August 9, your Washington Department of Veterans Affairs joined Senator Patty Murray, representatives of Veteran Service Organizations and VA Puget Sound Healthcare System officials to talk about the PACT Act's implementation at VA Puget Sound. As of July 2023, VA has received more than 14,000 claims for PACT Act benefits from veterans and survivors in Washington state.
The great news of WDVA gaining additional funding from legislature to increase access to Veteran Service Officers around the state was also discussed.
