Partnership Spotlights

Community is the Fertile Ground for Connections that Heal and Transform.

When military service members make their transition to civilian life, many are looking for a place where they belong. Veterans Conservation Corps partners are the connectors that help veterans build trust and find shared purpose in service to their community and the natural ecosystems that are critical to the well-being of all living things.

When you collaborate with the VCC, you:

  • Play an active role in increasing the overall well-being of those who have served
  • Create opportunities for veterans to use their valuable skills and experiences to contribute to the health and resiliency of local habitats and food systems
  • Open up professional pathways for veterans with empowering mentorship
  • Increase your understanding of veteran issues
  • Build a bridge between military and civilian cultures
  • Cultivate the ability to offer meaningful support to veterans in your community

How Do We Collaborate?

Let's start a conversation! We want to know what you care about and how you go about tending to what you value. Our work together will be rooted in the place where our values align and what we each have to offer supports the goals of all involved.

A few examples of ways to partner with us:

  • Host VCC internships
  • Organize volunteer projects
  • Offer trainings and workshops
  • Share information and resources
  • Grant collaboration
