The Transitioning Warrior Program’s mission is to assist Veterans, transitioning service members, and their families with all types of Veterans benefits on JBLM.

What we do:

  • Federal VA disability claims assistance.
  • Provide information on the VA’s Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E), Education Assistance (G.I. Bill), Survivor’s benefits, VA Healthcare Enrollment as well as State and local Veterans Benefits.
  • Provide Outreach to the military installations and surrounding communities to help educate and inform those communities with the wide range of Veterans benefits and assistance programs. This can be in the form of an informational booth or as a presentation in a group setting.
  • Provide referral services to partner agencies for transitioning service members, Veterans, and their families.
